Under the direction of the Orchestre de la Francophonie (OF) will perform the nine symphonies of the great Beethoven in chronological order during five consecutive concerts.
These iconic works provide valuable educational lessons, convey a powerful humanitarian message, and reveal a profound human and emotional dimension. A challenge befitting the talent of the young musicians called to form an entirely new orchestra!
2024 events
On June 9, the Orchestre de la francophonie team will be on the move to give a young soloist the chance to perform Beethoven’s violin concerto! She’ll be moving at the tempo of Beethoven’s complete symphonies: 5 hours 5 minutes of alternating walking and running to the sound of the 9 symphonies from Pointe René-Lévesque to Ste-Anne de Bellevue, rain or shine!
By encouraging us on our journey, you will enable a young soloist to perform Beethoven’s violin concerto on July 24, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Salle Pierre-Mercure.
