Joining the Orchestre de la francophonie in 2023, she is a manager with a passion for the cultural sector, communications, and digital technology, bringing 25 years of experience in project management and production to innovative initiatives. She has led and supported teams in the development of digital content projects for all audiences, with a specialization in youth. She promotes collaborative and inclusive environments. Her academic background—a bachelor’s degree in history, a DESS in music mediation, and a master’s degree in musicology (in progress)—reflects her commitment to bringing research and practice together.

Student in musicology, Clovis Chartier is passionate about the world of music. His journey has allowed him to participate in diverse projects ranging from sound technology to musical performance. As a horn player, he is involved in the musical life through his participation in the University of Montreal orchestra as well as several personal projects.

However, it is truly through his involvement in the field of musicology that he stands out. His unique vision of the music industry is characterized both by his love for classical music and a social perspective. Indeed, his involvement in the field of music mediation allows him to have a unique viewpoint on the place of music in society.

Pursuing her passion for music at university level, Isabelle Cloutier stands out for her musicality and curiosity. Very young, she first discovered music through piano classes, and at the age of ten, she started learning clarinet which she had the chance to enrich her musical knowledge through various school ensembles and musical camps. Studying with François Martel, she completed her college diploma at Saint-Laurent CEGEP. In the fall 2022, Isabelle began her undergraduate studies at Université de Montréal with Martin Carpentier, with the intention of deepening her instrumental playing and gaining orchestral experience. She is also principal clarinet with the Mount-Royal Youth Orchestra. Alongside her studies, Isabelle is involved in her academic environment, particularly in her student association, first as a member of the student life committee in 2023, then as co-president the following year. She also coordinates student laboratory activities for the Étude partenariale en médiation de la musique (EPMM). During her time at EPMM, she had the opportunity to develop music outreach activities in collaboration with her colleagues, to help classical music reach a variety of audiences. With a desire to broaden her horizons in cultural management, Isabelle has been working for the Orchestre de la Francophonie since 2024, holding the position of music librarian and orchestra manager.

Named Artistic Director of the Year at the 2022 Opus Awards, Julien Proulx has been at the helm of the Orchestre symphonique de Drummondville (OSD) since 2014, where his thoughtful and audacious programming has revitalized the musical life of his community. A generous and imaginative musician, his ability to think outside the box led him to explore alternative musical ventures during the pandemic, including innovative digital projects and unique concert events. By turning restrictions into opportunities, he found new ways of reaching audiences while empowering musicians to express their creativity.
 
With the OSD, Julien Proulx has twice been awarded the Prix Opus Régions by the Conseil québécois de la musique: first in 2018 for the orchestra’s Prince et Tsar concert and then in 2020 for its Bel Canto concert, two events where the vocal arts took centre stage.
 
A cellist and singer by training, he is also a renowned choral conductor, frequently leading performances of symphonic choral repertoire.
 
Julien Proulx was conductor-in-residence for the I Musici de Montréal chamber ensemble, working under Maestro Yuli Turovsky. He has also conducted orchestras across Canada, including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, the Orchestre Métropolitain, Les Violons du Roy, the Orchestre du Festival international de Lanaudière and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. 
 
Whether as a teacher or in his role as artistic director, Julien Proulx is always eager to mentor up‑and‑coming conductors and musicians and to share his passion for music with the public.

Based in Ottawa, Lawson has been producing websites since 1996, mostly for non-profit and civil society organizations. He has a background in communications and journalism as well as significant experience in adult education.
