Kyle Myrfield (he\/him) is an emerging orchestral and chamber ensemble flutist and piccoloist based in Ottawa, ON and Saskatoon, SK. Originally from Saskatoon, Kyle completed his Bachelor of Music Honours in Performance at the University of Saskatchewan while studying under Randi Nelson and earned his Master of Music in Performance at the University of Ottawa under the tutelage of Camille Churchfield in 2020. A dedicated performer, Kyle won the position of Acting Second Flute and Piccolo during the Saskatoon Symphony\u2019s 2018-2019 season. He has attended multiple summer music festivals including Orchestre de la Francophonie, the Pender Island Flute Retreat, The Consummate Flutist, Orford Music Festival and has performed in numerous master classes including those led by Leone Buyse, Alberto Almarza, Soo-Kyung Park, Joanna G\u2019Froerer, and Denis Bluteau. A devoted pedagogue, he has been an active private flute instructor for the past 11 years, guiding students of all ages and abilities.<\/p><\/div>
